Who we are and why Baby Dazzlers was formed…
I am a mum of two young children, who wholly believes the best toys to give your child are the ones that are good quality, time standing, educational and fun. I have always loved finding unique toys that you usually cannot find in the high street shops and I am probably more excited than my children when a new toy is brought home and first played with. Now that I run the Baby Dazzlers website, I can indulge my love for finding unique and exciting toys which tick every box of the Baby Dazzlers ethos. I also hope that the Baby Dazzlers website will achieve it’s purpose by offering help and reassurance to anyone buying playthings for young children and to be assured that all the toys Baby Dazzlers stock will fulfill their child’s development stages and that no toy on the website wouldn’t be a toy that I wouldn’t or haven’t given to my children to help their development and for them to have lots of fun with too.
The idea for Baby Dazzlers began back in 2002, when a psychology lecturer on maternity leave with her first child, found she didn’t have much of an idea as to what kind of toys to buy for her child and indeed where the best places were to purchase them. High street toy shops had so much to choose from but offered very little in the way of help and expert advice. Subsequently Baby Dazzlers was launched in 2003 as a response to the lack of good quality developmental and educational toys and a lack of relevant help and information about child development.
Our Philosophy…
Like all parents - here at Baby Dazzlers we want the very best for our children and want to feel happy that we are doing our utmost for them. Driven by this philosophy, we have carefully selected beautiful, fun toys and products that are suitable for your child’s specific age and at the same time – are beneficial in some way to your child’s development. We pride ourselves on the fact that our products are of the finest quality, they come from reputable manufactures and in most cases, they are not common place in the High Street. All our products have been individually selected to meet the specified developmental needs of your baby or young child.
What we do…
Using our knowledge here at Baby Dazzlers we have taken the 5 key areas of development: - Intelligence, Social & Emotional, Language, Movement and Fine Motor skills and given you an overview of the significant aspects of your child’s development from 0 – 5 years old. We then suggest specific toys that will stimulate your child’s development in all of the above 5 key areas of development. So essentially we are able to help you decide what product you should buy and why you should buy it - because we are able to tell you how that toy will help your child’s development.
